Afghan Americans rally outside White House, blame Biden for debacle

Hundreds of Afghan American protesters gathered outside the White House on Sunday to support Afghan civilians. The group also called on the international community to denounce the Taliban and for President Biden to do more.

One woman who spoke with Fox News broke down in tears.

"My family is there. All my people is there. They’re killing all my people," she wept.

Many Afghan American women feared for the girls left to face the Taliban, which seized power in Afghanistan two weeks before the U.S. was set to complete its troop withdrawal, the AP reported.

"Our girls. The girls who are under 20 don’t know what life is like under Taliban. Their lives are all destroyed. They're all destroyed," two women who have family in Afghanistan told Fox News.

Afghan Americans also feared for their families who are unable to leave. Seven people have been killed Monday at Kabul International Airport as residents tried to flee the country amid the Taliban takeover. Video on social media shows people running, clinging on to planes as they depart............

I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

Afghan Lives Matter

'They're raping our women, they're killing our children. They have no mercy on anyone,' one woman said of the Taliban

Many people gathered in DC Sunday worried for the future of women and girls under the Taliban's brutal rule

Emotions ranged from outraged to devastated as many wondered what would happen to their families back in Afghanistan

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

They should have asked the Native Americans first about trusting the US Government.

Regardless of who they blame it changes nothing.  I read the signs and one stuck out "Don't land us back to pre 2001".  It's already happened.

Actually what these protesters aren't realizing is who is going to save the United States?

We were there for 20 years.  Why weren't they there fighting for their own country?

Many of them were.  The Afghan army lost more soldiers in the last 12 months than we did in Iraq and Afghanistan combined over the last two decades.

Not only did we pull out of Bagram in the middle of the night without telling them, we cut the power.  They lost any and all support for fighting the Taliban overnight.

I agree. The Afghanistan vets that I have heard speak....talk well of the Afghani troops.
