I never thought I'd see another scenario that was the evacuation of Saigon.  But here we are.

And having served in Afghanistan...in the province where the Taliban was born...seeing the progress we made while I was there and seeing what is happening now...I know how those that served before me must have felt about seeing South Vietnam fall apart like it did.

It's not a good feeling.

The uniting of terrorist factions around the world by friendly alliance , financing, arming democrats is far different than Americans seeking to unite against the terrorist of the world attacking us.  One is a uniting to enslave the world, the other to keep America land of the free, home of the brave.  No difficulty is seeing the situation for what it is to a patriot who favors America, instead of those that threaten it.

I consider the Waco Massacre I to be a failure by the BATF to utilize opportunities to peacefully inspect the Branch Davidians' arms (they were a dealer, iirc, if not of firearms then of other items at gun shows, one of a few cottage industries the group had going). Instead, they went in with a grandstand raid that had been compromised, and they knew it beforehand. Odd that the steel door that would have shown who fired first was some how "lost" while picking through the ashes of a building which had been structurally damaged, had flue holes poked in it, been soaked with methylene chloride and then, with a high wind "caught fire". If you really dug into that event, there was a lot of rot on the BATF/FBI side.
