Reports Reveals Why Andrew Cuomo Stopped Fighting and Resigned

CNN anchor Chris Cuomo advised his brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D),  to resign amid revelations that the governor sexually harassed and assaulted several women.

Chris Cuomo, who is taking a conveniently planned vacation this week, reportedly has had regular phone calls with the embattled New York governor over the past week and even encouraged his brother to resign, noting that he would be unable to outlast this scandal, according to The New York Times.

The Times' sources said that, as aides resigned and top Democrats called for him to step down, Gov. Cuomo was advised by his brother to look at the writing on the wall and leave his gubernatorial post.

CNN has told the "Cuomo Primetime" host that he can no longer participate in strategy sessions with his brother's aides after a May report found that he previously counseled the governor and his staff on how to deal with the sex scandal during these sessions. However, the network has said that Chris would be permitted to speak directly to his brother about the scandal.

Forget this Me-Too BS.  Every woman who accepted a position in the governor's office knew his reputation --- and not one told him to stop doing whatever it is they now find offensive.

Cuomo should be indicted for Manslaughter----Depraved Indifference.  Silver Lives Matter.

I'm with you, @Right_in_Virginia!  I'm sure that now that he's resigned, the 14,000 or so murders will be swept under the rug.  1 murder is a murder, 3 or more is a mass murder, and 14,000 murders is a statistic.

Andrew Cuomo looked like a befuddled old man who didn't understand how the world around him has changed during the last 30 years.

This is why we need to keep the pressure on to hold him accountable for 14,000 deaths he caused by the boneheaded decision to forgo using the Hospital ship Trump sent to NY, and instead forcing Nursing Homes with the most at-risk elderly patients to take active COVID patients without testing them.

A move that's a mass murder the likes of which the US has never seen before, and four other Governors repeated it.  They're all culpable.
