Pelosi considering Kinzinger for Jan. 6 panel: report

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is considering tapping Rep. Adam Kinzinger (Ill.), a Republican who voted to impeach former President Trump, to join the Jan. 6 select committee, CNN reported on Thursday, citing multiple sources.
Pelosi was asked at a news conference Thursday about the possibility of selecting another Republican to join the panel.
"We'll see," she said.
"I mean, there are some members that would like to be on it," Pelosi added. "But we'll see."
The consideration of another Republican addition to the select committee comes one day after House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) pulled all his GOP picks from the panel.
