Top experts have likened the COVID-19 “Delta Variant” to the common cold and hay fever. This comes as people like Anthony Fauci, Boris Johnson, and the WHO are pushing for more social distancing, lockdowns, mask mandates, and vaccinations.

Experts in the United Kingdom have compared the symptoms of the COVID-19 “Delta Variant” to that of hay fever and the common cold, according to various reports. The new strain has reportedly been the cause of 99% of all new COVID-19 cases in the UK. “The main symptoms of COVID-19 appear to have changed — with headaches and sore throats now more common than fevers and coughs, according to a warning by UK experts,” noted the New York Post.

“Allergy sufferers can experience some of the same symptoms as those with Covid, which can cause huge levels of anxiety,” said Dr. Connor Bryant, co-founder of clean air tech MedicAir, according to Mirror. “COVID is acting differently now, it’s more like a cold,” said Tim Spector, a professor of genetic epidemiology. “All those are not the old classic symptoms.”

Dr. Fauci continues to assert that “the Delta variant is currently the greatest threat in the US to our attempt to eliminate COVID-19,” which reportedly has accounted for 20% of all new COVID-19 cases in the United States. Fauci maintains that COVID-19 vaccines can protect people from the “Delta Variant,” adding that young, unvaccinated people are “more vulnerable than ever.”

In UK, Delta is their main one causing sickness.  The UK will go back to normal on July 19.  They will decide in August whether to put a plan in place in September, for people to get a third shot.  The third shot may be a different vaccine than the two they had before.

My almost daughter-in-law, in Wales, UK, had second Pfizer shot this past Tuesday.  Was very ill yesterday, chills, headache, body hurting, stayed in bed.  Not sure how she is now but they would contact me if she was worse.

That nature of variants in the broad view, tend to be less vicious than the original, as common sense will tell you:

The purpose of the virus is to live and to propagate. That is all they are for, in a mindless fashion.
So it only stands to reason that variation is going to favor strains that live longer and propagate better, and foremost in that - Not killing the host.

Those variants that kill the host do not live to propagate further - So they may hit hard, but they die out fast, thus favoring the strain that tends to moderate - That which remains in a live host gets to propagate for a much longer term, and thus populates widely.

And in that, the strain tends to moderate, and the new strain is seldom worse than its progenitor.

Researchers in the United States have conducted a study suggesting that the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines that are currently being rolled out in many countries should be effective against the C.37 lineage (lambda variant) of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).

The C.37 lineage, which has been categorized as a “variant of interest” by the World Health Organization, is currently increasing in prevalence in South American and other countries.

The researchers found that while pseudotyped virus expressing the C.37 viral spike protein was less susceptible to vaccine-elicited neutralizing antibodies, the reduction in neutralization was only minor.

The spike protein is the main surface structure that SARS-CoV-2 uses to bind to and infect host cells. The receptor-binding domain (RBD) of this spike mediates the initial stage of the infection process when it binds to the host cell receptor angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2)....
