Liz Cheney spent $58K on security in months after Trump impeachment vote

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) has spent more than $58,000 on security in the months following her vote to impeach former President Trump for inciting the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol, according to a Casper Star-Tribune review of Federal Election Commission data.

The newspaper reported that Wyoming’s at-large representative paid $58,500 for security from late January to early March.

Of that money, Cheney paid $22,500 to security firm Command Executive Services roughly two weeks after her impeachment vote. The remaining money was spent on three former Secret Service agents.

The Star-Tribune pointed out that Cheney has spent less than $2,000 on security services over her past three House campaigns, not exceeding $1,012 in a single campaign. She also never before spent money on security during the first quarter of non-election years.

The people detailed to "protect" her should be asked how many times they had to act protectively. If zero times, any taxpayer money should be refunded by her as money spent for a political stunt.

Cheney knew just what she was doing, and the need for more security to be safe against the people she knew she betrayed.  When you're doing nasty evils, you can feel insecure and need protection from those you screw over.

Who needs to wait around for those you want to smear to actually do something smear-worthy when you can just create the story using those with whom you have a common interest?

Trump nor his supporters need not do a damn thing to get bad press.

So it was wasted taxpayer dollars.

if there was a Congressional allocation for security per member, each of those anuses would be maxed out on the expense, every month.   So how did this treasonous broad rate special treatment?
