The United States military operates a huge range of vehicles for a large array of needs and operations. While everyone is familiar with the more famous Abrams Tanks and the Bradley infantry fighting vehicle, the military has lots of less-known support vehicles. Some of these are basically desert ATVs, while others are glorified Land Rovers and still others are military-grade bulldozers.
No matter if you are thinking about the Army or Marines, organizations as large as these have needs for a whole variety of logistical and scouting vehicles and often for very different environments. Most of the vehicles are designed and manufactured in the United States, but some are of foreign origin. Here are eight American military vehicles you never heard about.
