The New Antiracism Is the Old Racism
The benchmarks of the Back Lives Matter and affiliated woke movements are overt racism, systemic untruth, and the hypocritical privilege of their elite architects.

What will be the future of the mass hysteria spawned last summer? No one knows.

But its destination, if unchecked, will be ethnic tensions and sectarian strife at best akin to those in Brazil and India—or at worst Lebanon, Syria, and Rwanda.

Until just a few years ago, racial differences, according to polls, were more or less receding. Intermarriage between racial groups is at historic highs.

But by 2014-2015, with the birth of Black Lives Matter, its courting by the Obama Administration, and the emergence of the electronic social media mob and cancel culture, such progress seems to have ended. We have ceased seeing race as increasingly incidental, rather than essential to who we are.

The benchmarks of the Back Lives Matter and affiliated woke movements are overt racism, systemic untruth, and the hypocritical privilege of their elite architects.

We are now well beyond the race-based set-asides of the last 50 years, predicated on the evolving concepts of proportional representation and disparate impact. These multitrillion-dollar endowed Great Society principles eventually mandated that admissions and hiring reflect the proportional ethnic and racial makeup of the population.

What is the legal criteria to determine if someone deserves restitution or redress due to a person who is a member of the legal class, "black"?

At what point is someone not "black enough" to be a member of the legal class, "black".

Who arbitrates that issue?

I am sure Rev.'s Al and Jesse are working on that issue as we speak.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Mr. Hanson writes:

Nonwhites have ALWAYS behaved in a "racially aware" manner.
ALWAYS.

It was the dumb Euro-whites who foolishly believed that "everyone was equal", and ANYONE could become a member of the civilization they had built so long as they (the nonwhites) embraced the precepts of same.

And it's the whites (at least some of them, for millions are still naively ignorant) who are finally having "the scales of equality" drop from their eyes to see the reality of the situation that they themselves have created by embracing "egalitarianism" and "equality".

I have no workable solution to offer for this mess, because, well, there aren't any. Nothing that could "take us back" to an earlier era in America (say, around 1952) when such problems (except for the black problem, which is unsolvable) didn't yet exist.

This doesn't mean there are no solutions at all.
But the ones that lay ahead, will be exceedingly unpleasant.
That's intended to be an understatement.
