Chauvin Verdict coming out 3:30-4:30 Eastern Time

Chavin's bail has been revoked and he was taken out of the courtroom by a deputy sheriff.

"The jurors decided the verdict when they realized what the town they lived in, the town where the riots have been going on since last summer, would go through if they gave any other.   In other words, the verdict was established before the jurors were sworn in."

A while back, I put up a post here (the only one to express such opinion) that since it looked like Chauvin was going to be railroaded to a guilty verdict, his "best option" would have been to secure a new identity, then slip out of the USA to a country that doesn't have an extradition treaty here.

And live out whatever life he could.

I'm going to say something now and everyone here's gonna be upset:
The best thing for Chauvin to do in prison will be to align himself with the Aryan Brotherhood there for his own protection (if they'll have him). That offers his best chance for survival behind the bars...

Why am I confused over the three guilty verdicts?  How does that work?

Two possible things.

They were told to pick only one charge and they ignored it.

They weren't told to pick only one charge and they decided they'd save more real estate by picking all three.

Or they were ordered to pick all three.

That offers his only chance of survival, but doubtful the Aryan Brotherhood takes cops, not even cops falsely convicted of killing (b)lack drug addict criminal scum.

And they can't keep him in solitary protective confinement, that's "cruel and unusual" punishment and the courts would rather he be killed in general pop.  It would be different if he'd merely raped little girls and their puppies.

Per the Wall Street Journal:

The jury can convict Mr. Chauvin of any combination of the charges. Judge Peter Cahill explained the charges to the jurors in a lengthy presentation Monday morning, including all the elements of each charge that must be proven to sustain a conviction. In no case does the state have to prove that Mr. Chauvin had intended to kill Mr. Floyd, but all the charges require proof that he caused his death.

A conviction of second-degree murder requires proof beyond a reasonable doubt that Mr. Chauvin caused Mr. Floyd’s death while assaulting him, by intentionally applying unlawful force without consent that resulted in substantial bodily harm. It isn’t necessary for the state to prove that Mr. Chauvin intended to inflict substantial bodily harm.

The judge explained that third-degree murder requires proof Mr. Chauvin caused Mr. Floyd’s death by committing an eminently dangerous act that was highly likely to cause death and showed a reckless disregard for human life. To convict Mr. Chauvin of second-degree manslaughter, the jurors would need to conclude that culpable negligence and reckless actions by Mr. Chauvin caused Mr. Floyd’s death.

We need to review the Judge's instructions to the jury.  This guy may turn out to be Chavin's best friend when it comes to his appeal.

As for this verdict, you notice how many white supremacists and dirty cops are out there rioting on the streets in protest?  No?  Then  where are they?  According to the media, they are the biggest domestic threat to the country.

That is the new justice double standard we are witnessing.
