There's no way he's guilty of all three counts....it's logically impossible.

Former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin has been convicted on all charges by a jury in the Hennepin County court.   

The 12 jurors found him guilty of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in George Floyd's death .

BREAKING: Derek Chauvin has been found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of George Floyd.

He’s also found guilty of third-degree murder and manslaughter.

Guilty on all charges. Faces more than 70 years in prison.

I don't know what the verdict is as I type this.

But if it's guilty... it may have been a serious mistake by the defense to refrain from Chauvin taking the stand in his own defense.

He should have taken the effort to explain his actions directly to the jury.
If his reasoning and actions were sound, it would have been difficult for the prosecution to trip him up.

The jurors decided the verdict when they realized what the town they lived in, the town where the riots have been going on since last summer, would go through if they gave any other.   In other words, the verdict was established before the jurors were sworn in.
