New Pentagon policy allows transgender troops to serve in their preferred gender

The Pentagon on Wednesday unveiled new regulations allowing transgender troops to serve in their preferred gender and affording them access to military medical care.
 

The new regulations officially end former President Donald Trump’s de facto ban on transgender service members and allow individuals who meet military entrance qualifications to enlist, serve in their self-identified gender and access care deemed medically necessary for gender transition, chief Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said. The new policy comes about two months after President Joe Biden’s announcement that he would end Trump’s policies that barred nearly all transgender men and women from joining the military.

“[Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin] strongly believes that the all-volunteer force thrives when it is composed of diverse Americans who can meet the high standards for military service in an inclusive force that strengthens our national security posture,” Kirby said during a briefing at the Pentagon.

Double and triple standards abound...

Son had to work for almost 3 years to get in.  2 of those years trying for USAF and they medically DQ'd him for a 1x case of mild eczema. 

But if he had claimed to be a tranny, would have been welcomed in with open arms AND provided the "care" for him to carry on.

They , in their attempt to please everyone with PC,  have made what should he a simple undertaking into a nightmare!
