George Floyd appeared 'high' when he handed over fake $20 bill and 'had difficulty forming words', worker testifies, as court is shown never-before seen footage moments before he died
The third day of Derek Chauvin's murder trial kicked off on Wednesday in Minneapolis
The jury was shown new video of George Floyd inside the Cup Foods store before his death on May 25, 2020
Cup Foods employee Christopher Martin took the stand to testify about how staff called the cops on Floyd because they believed he used a counterfeit $20 bill
Martin said he examined the bill Floyd used to buy cigarettes because it had a strange 'blue pigment'
He said he considered paying for Floyd's purchase out of pocket but ultimately called his manager
Martin said that the two things he noticed about Floyd were his 'size' and he appeared to be 'high'
Across about ten minutes of footage, Floyd was seen meandering around the store, rifling through his pockets
Martin said his manager instructed a co-worker to call police after Floyd refused to come back in the store
Minutes later he went outside and say Floyd restrained by Chauvin and other officers
He said he took a video but later deleted it because he believed Floyd had died
