Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen a handful of states start proposing and even pushing bills that fund students instead of systems. Guess spending a year watching teacher’s unions holding education hostage for power and money finally started waking a few legislators up.
Sadly, the states that need the most help, the blue states, won’t be passing any such thing any time soon.
And that’s why it’s pretty damn awesome that Sen. Rand Paul has introduced it in the Senate.

And thus have the teachers' goonions promoted a new push for School Choice initiatives across the country.
And what the promoters should do is focus on the children trapped in inner-city war-zone open drug markets, telling their welfare addled parents that this is money that would go to them rather than the failed schools.
I'm perfectly okay with lying to those animals if it will harm the teachers' goonions. Besides, they like being lied to, so where's the harm? It's not like telling them the truth has ever accomplished anything.
