Boy killed by van in mother's attempt to abandon him

This story is getting a lot of attention in the local media.

A 6 year old boy was killed by the van his mother was driving
as he clung to it, while his mother (age 29) was trying to abandon him.

The incident occurred about 3 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27,
at Rush Run Wildlife Area, a couple of miles southeast of Camden, Ohio.
The temperature was around 50.  There was rain that night.
Since the attempt to abandon the children had gone awry,
around 3 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, the mother and her boyfriend
dropped the body into the Ohio River, about forty miles away.

Several hours later, the couple reported the boy missing.
Police were suspicious of the couple's demeanor.
Further questioning revealed what had happened.

This appears to be an abusive relationship.
The boyfriend has a very long criminal record.
The mother says that the boyfriend had been
pressuring her to get rid of the children.
Ohio does have a "battered woman syndrome" law,
which could be a legal defense for the mother.

The mother and boyfriend moved frequently.
They most recently resided in Middletown, at 507 Crawford Street.
They currently reside in the Butler County Jail.
The boy's two siblings have been placed in foster care.

A week later, the boy's body had not been recovered.
Search attempts have been postponed due to high river levels.

This happens far to often.  Only rarely does it get national attention.  The media is too busy talking about Dr. Seuss and those royal brats.

Actually, the Fifth Amendment requires that a person be indicted and given a trial before he can be executed.

And a person's a person, no matter how small.

And a person becomes a person when the egg is fertilized, which happens before the zygote is implanted on the uterine wall.

Abortion is unconstitutional.

All I can picture is the handsome young man having his heart/soul and body torn apart by this. How many people would of took that young man and loved him. I would have even if I couldn't give him the newest nike shoes, I would give him the love he probable craved for years.

Breaks my heart just thinking about it, then it makes me mad enough to make sure I would not be selected for jury duty.
