MOSCOW, (BM) – The US Air Force will receive 400 AGM-158B JASSM-ER stealth cruise missiles “capable of reaching Russia” by mid-2025, the American edition Janes reported.

It is noted that the contract concluded with Lockheed Martin provides for the production of missiles by mid-2025, RIA Novosti reports.

In the summer of 2020, the Ukrainian consulting company Defense Express announced that the missile armament of the US Air Force’s B-52H Stratofortress strategic bombers could “strike” at Russia without the aircraft entering the airspace controlled by the S-400 Triumph air defense system.

Isn't the more relevant thing capable of reaching China? 

Rapprochement with Russia was the one good thing I hoped would come out of a Trump administration that wouldn't have been expected from any GOP administration.  Never happened -- I think derailing it was the real reason behind the obsession with non-existent "Russian collusion".

Realistically we should be trying to divide Russia and China with a view, if not to allying with Russia against China in a formal sense, at least having Russia help in restraining China, or sitting on the side-lines while an alliance of us and all the other encircling powers (India, Vietnam, Australia, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan and maybe some the "Stans") push back.
