The Pueblo was a liberal victory, which means we lost. Before the incident occurred, we were told those ships needed to be defenseless so as to not provoke hostile nations with an excuse to take and attack said surveillance ships. When the Pueblo called for help, mysteriously there was no one around to offer assistance, and assistance would have supposedly justified North Korea's violation of international waters. It stunk, just like the Embassy attack in Libya, and so many other events of disarming would give us safety, security, that did nothing but make it easy for our enemies to attack us. This disarm for safety crap has been going on for many decades, Vietnam war was often another example. It's what happens when your enemies effectively infiltrate you Country an many levels.
