Biden Blocks ICE Operation Targeting Sex Offenders

A nationwide Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operation to target and deport convicted sex offenders has been blocked President Joe Biden’s new deportation directive.
The U.S. Marshals Service and ICE confirmed the agencies are reevaluating enforcement operations on sex offenders, which includes child molesters.
Canceling ICE’s “Operation Talon†has had immediate effects. Immigration policy expert immigration writes that an ICE agent told her that “more than two dozen deportable sex offender targets at large in his area will be free to re-offend†because of the new directive.
