It seems like there's a correlation between population and vaccine distribution. Less populous states seem to be doing far better reaching their populaces.
That does seem to be a pattern, and to me it seems counter-intuitive, given the logistic challenges of a less dense population. CA, by way of contrast, could (hypothetically) have done a bang-up job in just San Diego, Orange, Los Angeles, Santa Clara, and San Francisco Counties and be one of the best states for distribution. Goobernor Noisome was more interested in casting doubt on Covid vaccines (pre-election) than in actually preparing for vaccine distribution, and it shows.
Biden makes me utterly ill period. To me the J&J vaccine a better alternative to Pfeizer and Moderna. First I've heard of Novavax.
The J & J vaccine uses a different technology than Pfizer and Moderna. But it isn't the traditional dead/weakened virus technology. The efficacy is lower than P and M, but is actually fairly typical. Probably the best aspects of J & J are that its storage requirement is more ordinary than even M, it is single dose, and strong reactions seem to have been less common than with P or M.
