Near total completion? Any special ops. branch with that kind of success rate is going to get lots of people killed. And maybe, just maybe, those wonderful changes make it more likely women can make the cut. Nah, the military wouldn't be involved in PC.

I remember back in the the Carter years,when the PC Crowd in DC was trying to get women in Special Forces as team members. IIRC,they hand-picked two women officers and sent them to Camp McCall to begin training,and neither made it past selection.
The Dims were so serious about this they DEMANDED that the SFTG command accept and pass the women though the course,and when they refused,a Lt Colonel was forced to resign,and two senior NCO's were forced into early retirement.
I wasn't there,but I both heard about it,and read about it in news reports.
