2) There are also talks off-stage with Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV). They are trying to get him to support a plan to extend extra unemployment benefits through September.
3) For the record, the longest roll call vote in Senate history came in June, 2019. The vote ran for ten hours and eight minutes. It was an amendment by fmr Sen Tom Udall (D-NM) to bar former President Trump from launching military action against Iran unless the U.S. was hit 1st
