Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) spoke with the nation’s top general about options for preventing President Trump from launching a nuclear weapon during his final days in office, she said Friday.

In a letter to colleagues reflecting on the week when pro-Trump rioters breached the Capitol, Pelosi outlined a call with Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley that she described as aimed at “preventing an unhinged president from using the nuclear codes.”

“This morning, I spoke to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley to discuss available precautions for preventing an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or accessing the launch codes and ordering a nuclear strike,” she wrote. “The situation of this unhinged president could not be more dangerous, and we must do everything that we can to protect the American people from his unbalanced assault on our country and our democracy.”


Pelosi’s letter gave no indication on what Milley’s response or advice was.

Milley's spokesperson, Col. Dave Butler, said in a brief statement that Pelosi initiated the call and that the general "answered her questions regarding the process of nuclear command authority.”

Amid unprecedented turmoil among the nation’s political leaders, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Friday asked the Joint Chiefs chairman to keep an “unstable” President Donald Trump from launching America into surprise military hostilities in his final days in office.

“The situation of this unhinged president could not be more dangerous, and we must do everything that we can to protect the American people from his unbalanced assault on our country and our democracy,” Pelosi wrote in a letter to House Democrats.

She specifically referenced America’s nuclear arsenal, and added that “if the president does not leave office imminently and willingly, the Congress will proceed with our action” to impeach him.

This is just another Pelosi political smear campaign stunt.  Everyone knows that no one in the military has to obey an  unlawful order, and starting a war is reserved for congress.  Even Roosevelt didn't retaliate after Pearl Harbor until after asking for a declaration of war.  Nazi Pelosi is well aware of this and has been using the same stunt since early in Trump's administration; trying to stop Trump from "going to war".

General McInerny, full interview at a party talking about Nancy Pelosi's laptop REALLY being in the hands of the military. There were Special Forces mixed in with the Capitol crowd dressed as antifa--includes actual footage. This is about a half hour long, his interview starts about 12 min in. Worth watching most of the beginning, especially that repeat clip of Special Forces. Found a clip on Juanita Broaddrick's twitter, and started looking deeper and found it on Bitchute.
