Republicans have hit rock bottom. How do they pick themselves up?

Will the Republicans finally wake up and match the energy, commitment, and unity of Democrats?  I hope that this is the moment — the Republican bottom from which to bounce.

The long-suffering alcoholic rationalizes his problems, sometimes for decades, ignoring all the signs.  He loses his driver's license because of the corrupt judge.  He loses his job and house since he was fired by a bad boss.  The wife and kids left since they did not understand.

Then the alcoholic finally finds himself in a $40.00 motel room, half-starved, no money, about to drink in desperation from a stolen Mennen Aftershave bottle and — voilà!  The light bulb goes on.  Gee — maybe I have a problem.

The Republicans seem to be in that motel room right now, sipping aftershave, and their light bulb had better damned well be going on.  They have big problems.

So what needs to happen here to create the new, strong, effective, courageous Republicans who do not ask for a hall pass to go to the restroom?

Quite frankly, I don't care about Republicans or the GOP.  The GOP is dead.

As I have mentioned a few times, it is time for CONSERVATIVES to collect their thoughts and figure out how to move forward. We need to figure out how to remedy what just happened and to release ourselves from the choke hold that the global leftists and RINOs have on our country.

Comments anyone?? 

We cannot sit back and keep things status quo thinking that we can vote people out in 2022 and run someone from the GOP in 2024. There aren't enough conservatives left in the Senate nor the House, so that isn't going to work and really is no longer an option. In light of what just happened, our electoral process has  lost all integrity.  We no longer have a SCOTUS that will remain unbiased. The swamp is so deep that there is no draining it. The left has promised to pack the courts and to do away with the electoral college.  They WILL no doubt do just that.

Perhaps this forum is not the place to put our thoughts or plans down. Membership in this forum is relatively large which is a good starting point ... so how do we collectively get things moving?

Again .... comments anyone?

I'm sure it will more about impotent whining about the "GOPe", whatever that is, in forums, that sort of thing.

The right needs to remake itself to appeal to people under 50 years old. Not sure how that'll happen.

Kind of hard to compete with the established socialists, especially since they pretty much mold the minds of our children from kindergarten to grad school and promise free stuff for just the simple price of their souls which most of them don't believe in anyway.

No, it seems the vast majority of our so called GOPe are more than happy being the democrats little butt boys and girls lacking any moral strength or courage.

Ok ... that is a given ... WE conservatives need to fight for placement on our school boards so that we can revitalize our school system to wash out the indoctrination of liberalism and to instill American patriotism, exceptionalism and true history back into our schools. We can no longer just let the status quo remain. This has been something that Beck has been pushing and funding. Those that can, need to get involved.

IT IS GOING TO TAKE ALL CONSERVATIVES TO DO SOMETHING at some level; be it within the school system, the electoral process, forming new party/government, etc.

Yes, and you can bet that the tyrannical left will soon .... if not outlaw outright, regulate and make it so difficult to homeschool that most will just give up, give in and send their kids to the nearest government indoctrination center.

B.S.  The conservative right needs to continue on with the very values and principles upon which this country was founded, namely the Declaration of Independence and our Constitution; those values need to be instilled in our children in schools -- our liberal school system needs to be wiped clean of the liberal deception and values that are being taught.

The right trying to appease the leftists is exactly why we find ourselves in the position that we're in.

More of those under 50 will be on board once they realize what's been truly taken from them; it's called freedom!

Once those under 50 realize that, once again, they've been screwed by the radical left re: NO JOBS.... they will, if they still have a brain, figure out that Trump was the best thing they had going in their lives.   They may not want Trump himself back at that point, but they'll want an end to rule by leftists.   I figure four years from now, after all the damage they will do to America and to Americans....the DemocRats will be losing the White House and probably control in Congress (again).

Four years ago, I would agree with your theory.  There is no way now that we are ever going to see another fair election.  The DEMS came and they conquered; they collapsed the electoral college as they wanted and as they needed to, to win an election.  That's not going to change in the future, they will make laws and rules to ensure that they retain control.

There will be no voting anyone out of Congress; especially the DEMS.  We will have a one party system.

I don't see any other outcome.

Reading that Rubio, Graham, and Cotton are condemning those Senators that objected.  Reports of Cruz and Hawley being asked to step down ... and invoking the 25th amendment on Trump to remove him from office immediately.

Just because you don't see another outcome (right now).... doesn't mean there isn't one.   I predict that the backlash from the damage the "squad" does will be so great, there will be overwhelming voter response in 2024 against them.... enough of a response that they won't be able to cheat a win.

I believe that there was overwhelming voter response for Trump; certainly he got more votes than he did in the previous election, but that didn't stop them from stealing the election, nor did it stop our SCOTUS from failing to do their jobs.

The DEMS have threatened to pack the courts with liberals, and change the electoral college.  So ... how do you expect an outcome any different (if not worse) than we just saw??

The DEMS will change laws to ensure that they retain power.  That's a given.

I don't see a different outcome if we assume that we'll somehow see a fair election when our electoral process has lost all integrity. 

I certainly will NOT vote for any GOP candidate that isn't a true conservative.  Right now there is talk about demanding that Cruz and Hawley; the only two that actually stood up for us to step down. 

It's game over.  Time to plan accordingly and the ballot box isn't the answer.
