No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

@Kamaji

I didn't take a photo of it,but I literally had to stop behind a woman parked in the right lane of a busy 4 lane US Highway yesterday because she was blocking the entrance into a local dollar store because she had stopped on the highway to make or take a telephone call. As you can imagine,traffic is usually busy and moving fast on a 4 lane highway on a Saturday afternoon.

I had to do two long blasts on my horn before I could get her attention and get her to move.

This
Meh, I had a 63 Studebaker Hawk and on the right side it was righty tighty lefty loosey however I was much more inclined to say righty loosey lefty tighty to remind myself that they were left hand threads on left side. Sometimes I had fun watching a guy in a shop try to remove the wheels on the left side :silly:

@skeeter

Mopars,all the way into the 50's had right side and left side lug BOLTS,too. That's right,BOLTS. there was a "pilot pin" on the rear hubs to supposedly keep the wheel from falling off while you were trying to change it,but it wasn't fun getting that first lug bolt started.

Mom is not only hard up for grand kids, she thinks Ashley would make an adequate Daughter in law.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I worked on an old Dodge Dart one time that had the left-handed lugs on one side, right-handed on the other.

I had a '70 Dodge Coronet 440 that was the same way. My next vehicles were a Chevy (company) pickup and an old ('63) Ford, and I had to remind myself that those had ordinary threads on the lug nuts...
