What Bob Hope and George Burns were to previous generations, Betty White was to ours. The living legend, still going strong right up to the end.

She had a nice run and was in pretty good health through it all.

RIP Mrs. Ludden.

I am so saddened. She was truly one of the greatest female comedians and pushed the envelope and was ahead of her times for many,many years.

RIP Betty.  RIP!!
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

That is one lady I would have loved to have a sit down with. I have no illusions that she was "Rose". I'll bet she was a spitfire that could tell some great stories. RIP Betty...you'll be missed.

Isn't it odd that the end of the year brings so many departures?

R.I.P. Dear Lady. Of all her roles I loved her in "Lake Placid" She played the villain. She dropped about 30 F-bombs as well as others. It was a typical Teen horror flick and she was releasing alligators into the lake. Very dark humor.
In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

I liked that one.

@mystery-ak
I ALWAYS got the sense she would have been a truly great person to become personal friends with.
