Here are the Republicans planning to challenge the Electoral College results

More Republicans are vowing to challenge the Electoral College results when Congress convenes next week to count the votes from the 2020 presidential election.

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) on Wednesday added momentum to the long-shot bid to overturn the election when he announced he would object to Congress's counting of the electoral votes on Jan. 6, making him the first GOP senator to join an effort launched by House conservatives.

The objection from Hawley, along with at least one House lawmaker, would ensure a debate and vote in the House and Senate despite no hard evidence showing widespread voter fraud.


“It's pretty clear that the momentum is growing in support of the objections to states' submittals of Electoral College votes because of their flawed election systems and render them unworthy of trust,” Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), who is leading the charge on the House side, told reporters after a meeting at the White House earlier this month.

"We now in the House side are up to dozens of congressmen who are willing to object or co-sponsor objections to various states’ submittals, so we have more congressmen than we have states to object to," he added.

According to sources familiar with the effort, Hawley’s participation has prompted a number of other GOP lawmakers to lend their support.

No hard evidence???   That's funny.   Cause I've seen tons of hard evidence (eye witness accounts, in fact) in these hearings online.   I guess the idiots saying no hard evidence didn't bother to watch any of those hearings, huh.  For "some" reason.

Well...you've got Trump hating RINO's on the one hand....embittered country club establishment GOP'rs on another...and on a third hand, the hard core purist Cons who so despise Trump's libertarian-populist streak they'll oppose him at all costs.  So you have these three NT factions...perhaps 25% of the paper in total...that are determined to divide the Conservative vote and undermine the President at all costs, even at the times they know he is objectively correct on an issue (as he is on electoral fraud, for example).

I have seen the enemy, and he is us. 75-80% of Republicans and Conservatives are eager and willing to fight this battle with the President and win a victory for the Republic...but as long as those folks are undermined...not by Dems...but by these idiotic factions on the Right...we will lose to the Left.

And it is especially enraging to those of us that don't particularly like Trump.... but like what he has done FOR America (vs. TO America like the idiot left always does)....and like the economy that his common-sense approach has created.   Also, due to our extreme distaste of the radical left (commies), have supported Trump despite the idiotic tweets and behavior quirks.... and have jumped fully onboard the "Trump train" against the DemocRats.   Only to now be torpedoed by those that are supposedly on our same side on the right.   It's infuriating.
