Chuck Schumer: ‘No Democrats Will Object’ in the Senate to $2,000 Stimulus Checks

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said no Senate Democrats will object to increasing $600 coronavirus relief stimulus checks to $2,000. He made the announcement Sunday night following President Trump’s decision to sign the $2.3 trillion coronavirus relief and government spending bill passed by Congress last week.

“The House will pass a bill to give Americans $2,000 checks. Then I will move to pass it in the Senate. No Democrats will object. Will Senate Republicans?” Schumer asked late Sunday:
