25 States Pledge To De-Prioritize White People For Vaccine Treatment

States have considered an important component to their vaccine plans “racial equity” but equity isn’t exactly what is being rolled out.

Here's the scoop for the Daily Mail:

“Every US state has been advised to consider ethnic minorities as a critical and vulnerable group in their vaccine distribution plans, according to Centers for Disease Control guidance.

As a result, half of the nation's states have outlined plans that now prioritize black, Hispanic and indigneous residents over white people in some way, as the vaccine rollout begins.”
 

States that have outlined these plans are as follows: California, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Equity as defined by Oxford is “the quality of being fair and impartial.” Prioritizing certain groups over others on the basis of race is not exactly fair or impartial.

Aren't these supposed to be nominally "conservative" states?

So far, Texas is not on that list to push older people farther down the list to receive the vaccine.  At this time, it is medical workers, nursing homes, older adults, essential workers next, regular people next.  You can jack around with the list, wanting it this way or that way.

Yes, in that movie, "Soylent Green" food was people.  I don't recall how they selected people and killed them; someone here, please remind me of that.  @Cyber Liberty, @Gefn??

Being the oldest here (I think), plus white, if I am ever allowed to have the vaccine, I will let you know.  However, I have a massive bad reaction to regular flu vaccine, penicillin and its cousins, tetanus shot, but can take the pneumonia vaccine, which I do when doc says it is time for another one.  Severe reaction to iodine in any form.  A bit of iodine was put under my skin on right arm, and it ate a hole down into my arm - was so big, had to heal from the inside out, it took out the pigment that colors the skin, so can still see the scar.

With all that I wrote above, I have no idea if I should have the shot.  Anyone here have strange allergies/reaction to medicine/foods?  (iodine in shrimp, crab, clam??)

@Victoria33  just my opinion here, but I would encourage you not to get the vaccine right now because of your adverse effects from the flu shot, and your reaction to iodine.  Who knows what they are using for a binding agent for this vaccine.

My daughter can eat shellfish, but she gets violently ill if she eats regular fish.  So she's not a candidate IMHO.  She has never had the flu shot .... she starts to feel sick and she starts taking Airborne Immunity -- she works everyday among the public and now she takes Airborne all the time to keep up her immunity. I pray she stays healthy.

My son when he was little could not finish the MMR series of shots because his arm swelled and turned red when he received the shot, so IMHO he also is not a candidate.

I have reactions to certain antibiotics, have several health issues that they don't know what the cause is ...  no I won't get the vaccine.

- Montana: 89% white
- Utah: 88.6% white
- Wyoming: 91% white
- Indiana: 88.7% white
- Louisiana: 58.4% white...

Louisiana is an exception, but let's see who the WHO and others want to be 'protected' if that is what really happens.

That is exactly what happens to my arm if I take a flu shot, tetanus shot, plus the arm gets "hot".  My family doctor knows why this happens to me, so he will not give me any kind of shot until he knows what is in it.  Right now, this doctor is in the hospital having had back surgery, so he is not available.  I'm not taking any kind of shot until he is well and has investigated what is in both company's vaccine.

Yup!

It's going to be ugly for white people living in places like Minneapolis and Detroit when they are renamed after "Great African Chiefs",and blacks are named the Master Race.

Then again,any white people still stupid enough to be living in places like that in 3 or 4 years is so stupid their deaths won't be a big loss.
