Minneapolis Officials Are Now Begging For Police Aid.
In the last six months, Liberals cities everywhere pandered to BLM and the defund the police movement. They cut funding and shot themselves in the foot. They claimed that they redistribute these funds to find alternatives to the police and turned their backs on the brave people that put their lives on the line to protect their communities. But now they are realizing the consequences of their actions. Crime is skyrocketing as criminals have far fewer officers to contend with. So Minneapolis is now practically begging neighboring areas, that backed their police, for help.
"Minneapolis officials are considering bringing in officers from other jurisdictions to help the city’s Police Department as they face a wave of violent crime and an officer shortage.
If the mayor and City Council approve the plan, officers from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and Metro Transit Police would temporarily work with the city, primarily helping to respond to violent 911 calls.
