   I guess we're gonna find out if that old adage is true, Lights and decorations can make even the most ugliest, deformed trees, pretty.

 Honestly, even with putting up the trees and decorations, my heart just isn't in it this year for lots of reasons and the State of our Union certainly doesn't help.

I have no "holiday spirit." It was all I could do to get out a few decorative items this year. No tree.
