Trump Suggests He’ll Appoint ‘Special Prosecutor’

President Donald Trump said he is considering appointing a special prosecutor to probe former intelligence officials and investigators involved in surveilling his 2016 campaign as well as the Nov. 3 election.

Trump was asked on Fox Business on Sunday about why U.S. Attorney John Durham, who was appointed by Attorney General William Barr to investigate the origins of the probe last year, hasn’t released his long-awaited report.

“Before we leave the subject of Durham, I feel like something happened in September. I don’t know what happened, but we were all expecting Durham to come out and A.G. Barr to be aggressive,” Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo said, adding, “Will you appoint a special counsel to investigate and to continue the investigating into what took place in the 2016 election? You mentioned Jim Comey and Andrew McCabe not facing accountability—will you appoint a special counsel?” she asked after several questions about election-related fraud cases.

Trump said that he “would consider a special prosecutor.”

it's likely to be the only way we'll find out what happened.  He should also appoint a Special Prosecutor to hammer on the Democrat cheating in the election, in all 50 States.

He can name one but when/if Biden is sworn in he can stop it..

btw there is no one in DC I would trust to do it..I had great hopes in Barr..talk about being disappointed..

Yes me too.  I don't think he is corrupt, just scared of being killed by dems.  That is their m.o.  Threaten people with their lives. You might be too young, remember ROSS PEROT?  That is why he dropped out. SETH RICH. 

P.S. I was in trouble with the mod's again.  It was a very nice mod 5.  I agreed with him. I try to behave.  Really.

Rumor had it that they threatened his family.  Seeing what has happened in this election, I tend to believe the supposed rumor.

Oh ... I don't think it's so much of a fantasy ... the way I see it ... they don't have much to lose other than their name associated with "thuggery" and "toughness" (perhaps being paid to riot)  vs. millions who have everything to loose; this country, their families and everything that they've ever worked for and especially their FREEDOM.  Huge difference.
