Republican David Valadao has defeated incumbent Rep. T.J. Cox (D-CA) in the close race for California’s 21st congressional district, according to Decision Desk.

Valadao avenged his loss in the Central Valley district in 2018, when Cox narrowly defeated the three-term congressman by less than 900 votes as mail-in ballots were counted. Though Valadao was leading on Election Night, Cox won the race several weeks later.

So, what's that make the score?  13 or 14 GOP pickups?

Occam's Razor applies here.
After they pretty much wiped out the Republicans in California in 2018, the democrat-communists got lazy. They reckoned that those seats were just "gonna be theirs" from now on.
So... they didn't push for them, and... came up short.

With their underground "election apparatus" that was just proven effective in the 2020 presidential race in other states, the demo-commies are NOT going to be "caught short" in these districts again...

I hope I'm low, but I think it's a net pick up so far for the Rs of 9 or 10, with a few seats undecided.
