Fox News Admitted They Made a Major Election Night Mistake That Cost Trump Big

It has not been a good few weeks for Fox News Channel.

The network’s come under heavy criticism for growing anti-Trump bias.

And now Fox News admitted they made a major election night mistake that cost Trump big.

At 9 PM Eastern Time on Election Night, the Fox News Decision Desk called the Democrats retaining control of the House of Representatives and growing their majority by at least five seats.

Fox says "We report, you decide".

Well, viewers have decided to tune out all of your worthless reports.

No number of mea culpas would get me to watch that channel again. They may yet have succeeded in their attempt to eff this nation over.

Just one of the sweet results, were Trump to succeed in his challenges, would be to watch all the Fox News stooges trying to explain why they refused to cover the political story of the century as it unfolded.

They did not apologize for calling AZ early.  No, they're apologizing to the Rats for calling the House Majority for Pelosi, with pickups for her.  This is in no way a mea culpa for our side.

I no longer have the Fox news website as my opening page, nor do I visit it anymore.  They are worthless.

The Republicans gained significant House seats and may well have a 4 seat Senate majority.
In contrast, Trump got his butt handed to him because plain people were fed up w/his attitudes
and behaviors. Predictably, the usual suspects will always see Trump as the eternal victim!!!

No. Trump pardoned a turkey. All turkeys are ignorant lackeys slavishly devoted to Trump.

Only 12 more hours and Trump's Thanksgiving, mercifully, will be over.

Yes, that is what happened.  People want peace when they leave work - not an evening of Trump, Trump, Trump, not a morning of Trump, Trump, Trump.  We kept Republicans, added Republicans and voted for peace, not Trump 24 hrs. a day.

I never watched Fox before anyway...
... but that's because I don't watch ANY "television news".
Nor listen to it on the radio, either.

I will admit to watching Tucker Carlson's opening monologues on YouTube (or elsewhere) from time to time.

Unfortunately with a Biden victory there will be no peace, the riots will swallow our cities and spread like wild fire.  Our Republic will be destroyed .... and Sloe Joe/Harris will lead us to socialism.

I'd rather have Trump, Trump, Trump.

Actually @Victoria33  People want to leave for work (operative word being "work").

Don't fall for the media created chaos.  Voters understood who is working for them.  This is why POTUS won reelection.

Fox is feeling heat from NewsMax and is blocking guests from appearing on NewsMax shows.  Ironically, from CNN below

Fox News staffers thought Newsmax was a joke. But they're not laughing anymore

Fox News is taking action to stave off newfound competition from Newsmax TV.

Producers on some Fox programs have been told to monitor Newsmax's guest bookings and throw some sand in Newsmax's gears by encouraging guests who appear on both channels to stop saying yes to the upstart.
According to Fox sources, producers were told to avoid some regular guests if they kept showing up on Newsmax after being encouraged to stop. Management's goal: to remind guests who's boss in the right-wing media world.

And Fox News is still boss, with five times the audience of Newsmax at any given time of day. A Fox spokesperson said there was no directive about guest bookings.

I am not speaking of Dem or Rep values.  I am speaking of human behavior.  People want  peace to live their lives, not daily government disruption by a president.  Trump will likely keep tweeting but will not have the power to make government act.

Trump's mindset, to destroy others, will not stop.  He now wants to destroy Fox News that supported him, but now he wants to hurt them.  There is only one person he cares about and that is himself; all others are disposable.  Surely, you can see this.

I have tremendous respect of your opinion, but don't forget....   The past 4 years have not been normal political discourse.  Trump's demeanor (which I have had exceptions too with), is someone at war.  When at war, you can never play nice.

Actions have consequences.  I see NewsMax passing Fox for conservative Opine, within 3-5 years .

catfish, Thanks for your comment.  Trump has been this way all his life.  If there is not a crisis, he makes one and that has continued through his presidential years.  When he is not president, you will see he keeps creating chaos.  He must be in the news, if he isn't, he thinks he is a loser.  I am concerned he may do as he has suggested, and bomb Iran's nuclear underground site.  He has sent bombers and they are in Israel.  Israel is making troops ready for war, in case Trump does this.

Think about it - if he bombs Iran, he stays in the news even through he won't be president - it will be "Trump's War", and he will stay in the news as long as that war lasts.
I hope he does not do this.
