If Democrats do manage to gingerly escort Joe Biden into the Oval Office come January, he and his handlers will have a huge problem: How to reconcile the party’s more moderate factions with the radical, Marxist-commies that are already demanding a role in his government because they believe they were the ones who elected him.
Already, the radical left is needling Biden for influence. One group linked to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York wants Biden to impose a socialist economic model on America with or without Congress.
The group, New Consensus (which is misnamed, of course) is advising Biden to work through the Federal Reserve and Treasury Department to provide trillions of dollars in low-interest loans to assist small businesses and to “build the industries of tomorrow,†Politico reported.
“The plan we’ve just outlined, again, can be pursued with or without formal legislation,†a memo from the group sent to Biden’s transition team says. “Should that not happen, as you know, the nation does not have the luxury of waiting for such perks before tackling its most urgent and indeed ‘existentially’ compelling needs. What can legally be done must quickly be done.â€
Leftist groups aren’t the only ones haranguing and harassing Biden already. So is Congress’ only undeclared Communist, Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont.
