Incoming congresswoman with Cuban mother tells AOC there's 'new anti-socialist squad' in town

Newly elected Republican congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis tweeted that a new “anti-socialist squad” is forming in response to the liberal representatives that currently make up a group known as the “Squad.”

“An anti-socialist squad is forming…,” Malliotakis, who defeated incumbent Democratic Rep. Max Rose this week to represent New York’s 11th Congressional District.

There are two new GOP members who grew up under socialism. Cuban-born @CarlosGimenezFL and Ukrainian-born @Victoria_Spartz . And two children of Cuban immigrants — @NMalliotakis and @MaElviraSalazar.

Us descendants of folks who fled socialism have much to rejoice. Love it.
