Trump demands Barr investigate Hunter Biden

President Trump early Tuesday pressured Attorney General William Barr to investigate the son of Democratic nominee Joe Biden and demanded that information be released before Election Day.

“We have got to get the attorney general to act. He’s got to act and he’s got to act fast," Trump said on “Fox & Friends,” citing a New York Post report about Hunter Biden’s business dealings. Trump called on Barr to “appoint somebody” to handle the matter.

"This is major corruption and this has to be known about before the election,” Trump said.


Trump’s remarks represented an extraordinary effort by the president to push a member of his Cabinet to investigate the family of his political opponent, as he explicitly invoked the election as reason to do so. They came after a group of House Republicans asked Barr to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the allegations about Hunter Biden made in the Post last week.

why the hell should Trump even have to "demand" that Barr investigate this latest scandal?   It should be an automatic no-brainer that it be investigated.

FBI have Hunter laptop.  Same video's China has, of HUNTER, raping, torturing young, Chinese children. Where did he learn that?  DAD,  Joe Biden.

GOP senator warns of 'holy hell to pay' if Trump fires Sessions

GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham (S.C.) is warning President Trump that any move to fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions will spark backlash from lawmakers.

"If Jeff Sessions is fired, there will be holy hell to pay," Graham told reporters on Thursday morning.

Graham added that Trump's public criticism of Sessions is an effort to "marginalize" and "humiliate" the attorney general. The president's actions aren't "going over well" with his former colleagues, according to the senior Republican senator.

Graham also warned Trump against firing special counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating any potential connections between the Trump campaign and Russia. Graham warned it "could be the beginning of the end of the Trump presidency."

Trump has stepped up his public criticism of Sessions, a former GOP senator and his first public supporter in the Senate. He has also warned that Mueller has multiple conflicts of interest that threaten his investigation.
In Trump's latest tweets venting his frustration on Wednesday morning, he questioned why Sessions didn't fire acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe — who has been a target of Trump's dating back to his presidential campaign.

Trump is reportedly considering trying to replace Sessions using a recess appointment, according to The Washington Post.

Graham added that if Trump wanted to fire Sessions he should use his authority to do so but should be ready to "accept the consequences."

Your guess is as good as mine.      I'm one very suspicious person these days, though.   And I don't fully trust ANYONE in positions of power over us.  So.... my thoughts tend to go toward the "ultimate" conspiracy theory level.

That's pretty much where I'm at as well.  Any way that I look at this situation makes me darn suspicious of Trump. I sure as heck won't vote for Biden, so that leaves me casting my vote against Biden, much like my vote against Hillary.

If Joe and Hunter were able, they would claim those emails were placed on his computer by a third party.

Seriously?  After living for decades with presidents and their cohorts pushing the New World Order bullsh*t, and their buying up every politician with an open hand, you need convinced that America voted for Trump because of all the corruption in Washington, and that Trump knowing this, selected initially and continues to select Bush people to serve in key positions of his administration, and people are surprised when they do nothing of substance to address the corruption?
