New Department of Defense hub will be in Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS – Indiana will be the host of a new defense hub for the U.S. Department of Defense in research, development and testing of hypersonics systems.
Hypersonic systems can travel five times faster than the speed of sound. The new hub will be at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division in Martin County, Indiana.
