@dancer, I'm well aware of all that. But where in all that is any tie to State Rep. Gene Wu? If you're trying an info-dump tactic, the info has to be relevant.

@PeteS in CA

Ok, now I'm curious.   Your constant defense of Wu in this thread, especially considering his tacky but typical comment about "Trump behind bars", is puzzling.   WHY are you such an apparent fan of Wu?   In fact... why the defense of ANY Democrat that has made such a hateful comment?   Again....

which side are you on?

@XenaLee, oh, boy! I persistently ask for evidence to support an accusation that Wu is some sort of supporter of the CCP, and now I'm "defending Wu"? 888mouth Why do you need to attack me instead of providing evidence?

Are you (and others) unable to provide actual evidence to support the accusation?! Just admit that and move on.

If you have evidence then present it and I'll agree the accusation is supported.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

I think a great deal of the bile being spewed at Trump has to do with his upsetting the sweet arrangement certain US interests had with China. There were a relative few very powerful individuals getting very very wealthy selling out the United States and they're keen to get back to business as soon as possible. Wu was likely one of them.

Selling out the US to foreign nations, especially enemy foreign nations, seems to be a hallmark of being a Democrat representative.   Or maybe even a job requirement.

Under your philosphy Clinton did nothing wrong with her server either.  Sometimes the guilty are very adept covering their tracks so well, that the dots are hard to connect.  Fact is, Houston is (was) the hot bed of Chicom spying.  Having someone at the highest legislative in Texas government, with ties (see link I provided above) is far beyond coincidental.

So unless you think we made them close the embassy in err.  Having someone that leftward leaning, and in cohorts with Biden Beto, et.al.   RESIDING IN HOUSTON, NEAR THE EMBASSY?  The meme....  Where there is smoke there is fire, was never more true.

@skeeter

LOL! Yeah,that's ONE way of putting it!

I got into an argument with a guy in northern Va  a few years ago over the freaking Chinese. If you think I am aggressive here,you should meet me in person when some numbnuts motherhumper defends the freaking Chinese.

I had just bought a truck off this cretin,and asked him why he was selling everything off. He told me he had been working as a maintenance supervisor/master mechanic at a union job in a local plant the Chinese had bought and shut down to ship all the equipment off to China,and had signed him to a 3-year contract at two or three times his usual pay to move to China to work for 3  years to help set the plant up and train the Chinese who will replace him at his old job.

His stupidity almost gave  me brain freeze. Here he is,BRAGGING about going to work to help them people who put him and his neighbors out of work,and for many of them out of their homes because there was no way in hell they were going to get any jobs doing the same work anymore within hundres of miles,and would end up losing everything they had.

Then I remembered,he was a Proud Union member,and had the bumper sticker to prove it. With union members,it's all about me,ME,ME,DAMMIT!

He was most likely not happy with a few of the things he heard that afternoon.

Yup. China FLOODED the US and other western nations with these people back in the 70's,paying their full living expenses and tuition to go to schools in the US. While here learning how to modernize their failing systems,they were stealing every technical book in sight,and shipping them home to China.

I later found out after a few had been arrested (not in my area) that most/maybe all these "students" were really officers on active duty in the PLA,and moving west to get an education to improve China was their duty assignment. While here,their duty was to remain silent about their mission and their dedication to China,and to make friends and learn all they could about how our system functions so they could try to exploit it.

90% of the sheeple in this country don't realize that the Chicoms want to first destroy us, then conquer.

And...   That the Chicoms orchestrated this pandemic for their own benefit is not Tin Foil Fodder at this point.

@catfish1957

The most amazing part of it all to me is that idiots like Schiff and Pelosi really DO think the Chinese will leave them in charge when they take over,and not replace them with Chinese bureaucrats related to Politburo members.

The Chinese are the most racist people on the freaking planet,and these Jews and Caucasians REALLY think they are going to make exceptions for whores they rented?

Thankfully, I think enough people have alerted Abbott of Wu's shenanigans, so watch for a censure in the next legislation session.  He's toast for any decent committee appointments or assignments.

You ARE defending Wu here.   Are you really trying to deny that?   Seriously???

I just want to know 'why'.

I am not "defending" Wu. A serious claim was made, and I simply asked what evidence there is that supports the claim. I've asked multiple times, and still no evidence has been presented that supports the claim. What is so hard about providing the evidence that you instead attack me?

Selling out the US to foreign nations, especially enemy foreign nations, seems to be a hallmark of being a Democrat representative.   Or maybe even a job requirement.

Well, that's a claim beyond dfwgator's original disloyalty claim. So where is the evidence the State Rep. Wu "sold out the US" to an "enemy" "foreign nation"?

I have no love or hatred for Gene Wu. Were I living in his district I'm sure I would vote against him, but that is neither love nor hatred. You keep insinuating, @XenaLee, that I have some sort of sinister agenda. Well, here it is: I HATE false accusations. :sarc: HORRORS!!! :sarc: TBR is not a court of law, but when serious accusations like disloyalty or of "selling out the US" are made, I find the US Constitution's requirement that prosecutors prove their case and the Bible's "two or three witnesses" requirement wise. I also find applying standards without regard to my partisan ideas wise.

Dear Pete,

(Notice, that I refrained from snarking "Earth to Pete")

Just because someone questions your apparent defense of a DemocRat POS like Gene Wu....

it does not equate to an attack on you, personally.

In fact, many that know me here can probably attest to the fact....

that I will "question" the motives of ANYONE here that seems to be defending a damned Democrat.  Especially one that has insinuated that Trump should be in jail/prison for some unknown "crime".

Just...

sayin...
