Yes!  I love The Mavericks.  Listen to them with great regularity.  Their lead singer and song writer, Raul Malo is very Roy Orbison-like at times.

Tripped across a Facebook video about a half dozen beagles that lived their entire existence in a little metal cage...courtesy of the National Institute of Health research devision.   One by one they tentatively step out onto the grass and are ultimately adopted.

All the while this tune was playing.   It was a heart grabber.
