MSNBC Guest Derides Black Kentucky AG as ‘Skin Folk’ But ‘Not Kinfolk’

Elizabeth Matamoros - September 23, 2020 5:32 PM

Retired Los Angeles police sergeant Cheryl Dorsey on Wednesday suggested Kentucky attorney general Daniel Cameron is a foe of African Americans because prosecutors aren't bringing murder charges for the death of Breonna Taylor.

"Let me say this as a black woman, [Cameron] does not speak for black folks," Dorsey said during an appearance on MSNBC. "He's skin folk but he is not kinfolk. And so just like he thinks they can’t speak for Kentucky because he’s up there with a black face, he does not speak for all of us."
