Ibram X. Kendi, director of Boston University’s Center for Antiracist Research, wrote on Saturday that white people who adopt black children may be “racist,” joining a growing group of Democrats and leftists commenting on Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s Haitian son and daughter.

Kendi wrote on social media: “Some White colonizers ‘adopted” Black children. They ‘civilized’ these ‘savage’ children in the ‘superior’ ways of White people, while using them as props in their lifelong pictures of denial, while cutting the biological parents of these children out of the picture of humanity.”

“And whether this is Barrett or not is not the point,” he continued. “It is a belief too many White people have: if they have or adopt a child of color, then they can’t be racist.”

Kendi concluded, “I’m challenging the idea that White parents of kids of color are inherently ‘not racist’ and the bots completely change what I’m saying to ‘White parents of kids of color are inherently racist.’ These live and fake bots are good at their propaganda. Let’s not argue with them.”

A sense of Decorum prevent me from saying exactly what I think. Twenty years ago my wife and I were looking into adoption. We did not care one way or another about race. We were turned down by several agencies because we "Could not provide an authentic cultural experience" for the child. Went through the County did foster to adopt. Made the mistake of taking a teenager for our first foster. That's all they gave us after that. Finally put our foot down and told them nothing over 4 years old. They got real pissy even though other peole had done the exact same thing.

Good friend of mine just did foster to adopt for a minority child because the alternative was to dump the kid in the system for the next 14 years (Amount of time momma is due to be in prison) and she wanted to give the child a good stable home.

IMHO,the whole purpose of this BS discussion had it's focus on once again damning white people,basically for BEING white people.

The focus SHOULD have been "what is best for the child?".

Unfortunately,most black children that get raised by white parents end up isolated and angry as young adults because they have "one foot in each world". They (mostly) love and are loved by the white people that raised them,but all they hear from people that look like them is that they are sellouts to de white debbil,and that all white people are debbils.

All this due to no fault of their own. They may end up reading,writing,and speaking normally,but their black friends want them to be mo ghetto to fit in.

The IDEAL situation would be for them to be adopted by middle-class black families,but we don't live in a perfect world. None of us.

The solution to this dilemma sounds simple. Convince the typical black to start acting and thinking like normal people living in the western world,and less like "Super Fly" or some sort of Black Super Hero that goes around punishing white people for being white.

This is just another opportunity for black racists like Kendi to smear whites. If the Barretts had told adoption agencies that would not accept black children, they're vicious racists.
If they adopt black children, they're still vicious racists who are trying to hide their vicious racism by adopting black children. Right.
In other words, in the eyes of scoundrels like Kendi there is no way the Barretts can win.
To be sure, Kendi most likely views all whites, conservative or liberal, as nasty racists who eventually have to be conquered or eliminated in his screwball vision of how things should be.
 The fact that the Barretts are conservative assures Kendi that numerous white, spineless, liberal weasels will not oppose him in his racist tirades. They don't want to be accused of being a racist....which in their eyes is the worst thing that anybody can call another person or persons.
