An Antifa sympathizer who was said to be a suspect in the fatal shooting of a Patriot Prayer supporter in Portland, Ore., last month was reportedly killed Thursday night as authorities moved in to arrest him.

Michael Forest Reinoehl, 48, died in Lacey, Wash., outside Seattle, during an operation by a federal fugitive task force, The New York Times reported.

Reinoehl's death was also confirmed by a senior Justice Department official, according to The Associated Press. The suspect was shot by law enforcement after drawing a gun on officers, the AP report said.

No trial, no definite resolution as to what happened. The left are now free to claim the Patriot Prayer guys were threatening violence and the Antifa guy was acting in self defense.

The fact that this was a very neat resolution to a case that, if it had been tried in Multnomah County, could well have had an outcome cheating Aaron Danielson, his family, and his friends of the justice they deserved.

Last night, Michael Forest Reinoehl was shot and killed by federal authorities after evading capture for nearly a week. He is the man who allegedly murdered a Trump supporter in cold-blood while “protesting” in Portland, OR. The original chilling video shows Reinoehl responding to someone saying “we’ve got one over here” by pulling a gun and executing a man in the street at near point blank range.

At first, misinformation spread, claiming the police killed Reinoehl in revenge. That was, of course, nonsense.

In reality, U.S. Marshals moved in to make the arrest after Portland PD and state agencies failed to apprehend him. That ended badly for Reinoehl, who reported pulled a gun and reportedly had a fairly large shoot-out with the authorities.

I’ll note that it’s highly unlikely Reinoehl got off “40-50” rounds before police returned fire, so this is more likely a case where both sides were firing at each other for some period. In the end, it was expected that the suspect wouldn’t go peacefully. He’s already admitted to the murder during a lionizing interview with VICE News (I struggle to include that second word in their title). There was clearly no case for self-defense, as the victim wasn’t even armed. Reinoehl simply executed a man.

They Got Him: Antifa Punk Shot and Killed By Federal Agents After He Reportedly Pulled a Gun

    The man, Michael Reinoehl, 48, was killed as a federal task force attempted to apprehend him in Lacey, Washington, the official said. Reinoehl was the prime suspect in the killing of 39-year-old Aaron “Jay” Danielson, who was shot in the chest Saturday night, the official said.

    Federal agents from the FBI and the U.S. Marshals Service had located Reinoehl on Thursday after a warrant was issued for his arrest. During the encounter, Reinoehl was shot by a law enforcement officer who was working on the federal task force, the official said.

    The official said Reinoehl had pulled a gun during the encounter and was shot by law enforcement. The official could not discuss the matter publicly and spoke to the AP on condition of anonymity.

    The U.S. Marshals Service fugitive task forces, comprised of deputy marshals, other federal agents and local law enforcement officers from a variety of agencies, are responsible for apprehending violent felons and other wanted suspects

    Reinoehl had described himself in a social media post as “100% ANTIFA,” suggested the tactics of counter-protesters amounted to “warfare,” and had been shot at one protest and cited for having a gun at another.

Vice was playing The Big Lebowski prior to the interview, but I refused to watch the POS be interviewed afterwards because it was clear from the promos the interview was a whitewash of the diseased punk.

Sounds like she's realistic about her brother but believes the Prog narrative that the Patriot Prayer people are violent the way the Antifoids are.

Oregonian:

Michael Forest Reinoehl, a self-described anti-fascist who provided security for Portland racial justice protests, appears to have targeted a participant in a pro-Trump rally, emerging from an alcove of a parking garage before firing two gunshots, one that hit the man’s bear spray can and the other that proved fatal, according to a police affidavit unsealed Friday.

Police found a single Winchester .380-caliber bullet casing on the street, a metal canister of “Bear Attack Detector” that had a “large defect” in it and a collapsible metal baton just north of Aaron “Jay” Danielson’s body, a detective said in the affidavit. ...

Reinoehl is seen hiding in an alcove of the garage and reaching into a pouch or waistband as Danielson and a friend, Chandler Pappas, walk south on Third Avenue.

Homicide Detective Rico Beniga wrote that Reinoehl “conceals himself, waits and watches” as Danielson and Pappas pass him.

After the two men go by, Reinoehl followed them, walking west across the street moments before the gunshots were fired, police said.  ...
