Level 1:  The Republican Convention features disabled soldiers willing themselves to stand for our National Anthem.
The Democratic Party encourages people to kneel for our National Anthem.
Quite a contrast. I pick the first one.

The contrast between the two parties couldn't be more stark. It matters little what the leaders of each truly believe, they are openly reflecting the values of their constituencies.

A nun in a habit just told the nation that Jesus was crucified for being not politically correct and that Joe Biden (a practicing Catholic) and Kamala Harris are pro-infanticide. #RepublicanNationalConvention

Saying “today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing” ultimately resulted in his execution by the state. Doesn't get much more politically incorrect than that.

And being a 'practicing Catholic' and supporting abortion are mutually exclusive.

Ms Ioffe must've gone to public schools.

I can't believe how much I've enjoyed watching the RNC Convention on C-Span. The pacing of the speeches, the quality of the speakers and most importantly the content of the speeches has been terrific.

I love my country. I want everyone to be able to live in peace. I want everyone to have an equal opportunity to succeed in whatever they pursue. The Pubs are making it clear they represent "fly over country" not the corporate or govt. elites.

@bilo

I agree with  every word you wrote, but have to admit I was actually surprised to enjoy watching and listening to the convention. They usually bore me to tears or make me even more cynical than I am anyway, but neither happened a single time this year.

The last time I can remember being moved at all by a political convention was when Julian Bond (I think that was his name) gave a speech at a Dim convention in Atlanta in the 60's,talking all about peace, brotherhood, equality, etc, etc, etc. I was actually young and naive enough back then to think he really meant it,and it damn near brought me to tears.

I still didn't vote for him,or anyone else, though. I was in the army, and didn't think soldiers should be involved in politics in any respect, including voting.
Anyone who isn't paranoid in 2021 just isn't thinking clearly!

Anti-Trump activists plan protests, concert to disrupt president’s RNC acceptance speech
Shutdown DC announced it would 'crash Trump’s party' with a rally Thursday night

Anti-Trump activists are organizing protests and a concert to make noise in downtown Washington, D.C., with the intention of disrupting the president’s planned outdoor acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday night.

President Trump will formally accept the Republican nomination from the White House and deliver a speech to close the convention from the South Lawn. Fencing and barriers have again been bolstered outside the White House ahead of expected demonstrations.

A fireworks display is expected at the Washington Monument at the conclusion of his remarks.

Organizing group Shutdown DC announced it would “crash Trump’s party” with a rally Thursday night.

The action began at noon with a “Power to the People Rally for Workers Rights” held outside Jeff Bezos’ Washington, D.C., home.

Why didn't Joe Biden deliver the “response” to Trump?

Why did he have to send his Vice Presidential nominee to respond to the President?
