It’s understandable that in some instances it’s probably wise to wear a mask, depending on which “expert†you believe today. But when government entities begin to dictate that employees must wear masks, even while at home alone, the mask/validity argument begins to take a hit. Why don’t they just say what they really want, which seems to be to have people be subservient to the government’s every whim and demand.
Wisconsin secretary of the Department of Natural Resources Preston Cole reportedly sent out an email nearly two weeks ago that reminded employees that the Wisconsin mask mandate was going into effect on August 1 and that said employees need to wear their masks during Zoom call meetings, even if they’re at home alone.
“Also, wear your mask, even if you are home, to participate in a virtual meeting that involves being seen — such as on Zoom or another video-conferencing platform — by non-DNR staff,†Cole told his employees, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “Set the safety example which shows you as a DNR public service employee care about the safety and health of others.â€
