July 20, 2020-CNN's story on the development of America's hypersonic weapon that President Trump has touted as a "super duper" weapon cites a senior defense offical in its reporting explaining the missile. The president has stated that the missile is "17 times faster" than anything in teh American arsenal.
"What he was referring to, really, was the recent flight test that we've performed in March where we flew 17 times the speed of sound," the senior defense official said.
