No.  This is what happens when one candidate is so awful he cannot be seen in public, even announcing he will not be holding rallies.  In the blink of an eye I expect Biden will also announce he will not be participating in debates.  The media will wildly applaud ... you will blame the President.

Where is your outrage that the socialist-democrats are playing you, especially you, for a useful idiot?  Or is this the willing price you pay to install the socialists?  After all, in 2016 Hillary was acceptable to you, so history being prelude, so, too, is Biden.

Folks want none of those things.  But they also have had enough of Donald Trump.
This is what happens when both parties decide to present John Q. Public with such rotten choices.
---------------------------------------
Rotten is a monumental understatement.
Consider a moment, our early elections.
1796/ Adams vs. Jefferson.
1800 / Adams vs. Jefferson.
1808 / Madison vs. Pickney.
1812 / Monroe vs Clinton.
All were our Founding Founders!!!!

Occam's razor @Jazzhead ---  tells us that anyone willing to accept the socialist control of our three branches of government, IS a socialist.

I am not willing to accept that.  I want to see a renewed emphasis on the Senate,  and indeed to the GOP Congressional candidates as a whole.   I am not cheerleading against the President.  I am just willing to accept reality and believe the GOP should urge ticket splitting by patriots who are weary of the shitshow, to gain the ability to curb the Dems' most destructive tendencies.

Go ahead and support Trump.   I understand the logic;  I understand your support for the man.   I, too, support most of his policies.   If he wins,  fantastic.   But if he loses,   we cannot afford to lose all.   We need to put ourselves in the best position to play defense the next few years.

We need not work at cross purposes.  You rally the base.  Let folks like me speak frankly to those who cannot support Trump about the perils of woke fascism and the wisdom of divided government.

I think after five years here you know you'll not be banned for admitting who and what you truly are.  So, respect us enough to drop the façade.

Stop with the drama.   No facade.  Having read you for all these years,  on the issues we're like brother and sister.   Our difference consists of our assessment of Trump, nothing more.

Anyone who won't lead the GOP to defeat in November and usher in the Deluge.

Open your eyes folks!  Trump is killing us!

My eyes are wide open, more open than most and last time I checked Trump has been trying to take this country in a more positive direction; more so than 'W', more so than his daddy. No, he isn't perfect, and he raises some eyebrows at times.  I get that.

What is killing this country are the leftists and globalists who are trying to stop him...so far he has overcome most of those roadblocks. Instead of trying to convince everyone erroneously that he's trying to kill us, how about opening your eyes and realizing that we all (including our Congressmen) need to stand behind him in order to defeat the socialists on the other side.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

I don't get it, personally, but IMO ignoring this tsunamic of negative polling for Trump is foolish.

This is disheartening. Vote, but prepare for the worst IMO.

It's designed to be disheartening @Weird Tolkienish Figure   But polls truly are unreliable, even the media driven "trend".

Back in 2016 Trump supporters literally used a head nod and wink to identify themselves to other Trump supporters.  (This is true, especially in DC) If we were polled, we ignored the call or lied.  Why?  The crap that came our way just wasn't worth it.

The cancel culture and violence this year makes it less likely that folks are walking around with their MAGA hats. or chatting with pollsters.   But we're here ... and every now and then we hold our own rally .... as folks from 11 states did on a lake in South Carolina on Sunday (Jul 5).

Keep an eye on the polls, sure.  But remember even if we don't jump in front of cameras, we vote.  Personally, I prefer the President to be behind.  He's at his best pushing through to victory.

Here's a link to the boat rally for the President.  A snapshot, for sure .... but one you won't see on MSNBCNN or even Fox.

Agreed.   I don't hear anyone here advocating a vote for Biden.

I have no objection to anyone who votes for Trump.  I just can't see a realistic scenario where he can win.  Given that perspective (with which you may, of course, disagree),  I trust you can understand my message that GOP retention of the Senate is far more important than Trump's second term.  Because there isn't  IMO gonna be one and we need the ability to curb Democrat radicalism.

 He already won once, so winning again isn't unrealistic. I will concede he's not doing good in polling, although I suspect the polls are lagging the left's overreaching? There's were a few positive polls for Trump in RCP last I checked.

I think expecting people to split tickets in order to throw out the hated Orange Man, yet keep a chamber of the Legislature, is 100% pure fantasy.

Want to keep the Senate?  Then you have to keep Trump, meany Tweets and all.  That's the bottom line.

This is just the usual tactics to demoralize Conservatives prior to the election.  If you pay any attention at all to the #WalkAway and Blexit movements, then you will be filled with hope for the coming election. I think President Trump is going to win from a tsunami of former Democrat votes. A very small minority of Blacks support what’s going on and this is all waking up those who don’t to how the Democrats have been using them for their votes.

The #Walkaway votes will probably be only good for this one election, but the Blacks who are realizing that they are Conservative and have Conservative values and have been lied to about the history of the Democrat party are going to stay solidly in our camp.

I am guessing you thought the same thing in 2016.

Agreed.   I don't hear anyone here advocating a vote for Biden.

I don't hear anyone anywhere advocating a vote for Joe Biden.  And that is the problem.  People want to vote 'for' something, not 'against' something.

Those who voted for Trump four years ago voted for him because he understood real Americans/build the wall/drain the swamp/etc.  And people who voted for Hillary did so because she was a woman/bring back the prosperous Clinton years/uphold the status quo.  There was more for a Democrat to vote for with Hillary Clinton than there will ever be to vote for Joe Biden.  The support and enthusiasm simply isn't there.

Over the past half a century, it has been the black vote that has carried Democrats to the finish line.  When blacks turn out to vote, the Democrat wins.  When they don't turn out, the Republican wins.  And this election, they have no reason to turn out for Joe Biden.

Yeah, the difference is stubborn pride. It goes like this: “Since Trump is not a conservative (or not conservative enough), I’m not gonna lift a finger to stop the Marxist/socialist/democrats from winning the highest office in the land. That’ll teach ‘em! Next time, nominate and elect a conservative, damn it!”

True.  People need a reason to vote 'for' Trump, not a reason to vote 'against' Biden.  Doing nothing is already a vote against Biden.

A truly enlightened and civilized society would have no need for a government. IMO, government is a necessary evil. Thus, IMO, voting is a necessary evil. "The lesser of two evils" is horseshit. Abstaining is YOUR choice. Voting for any person is YOUR choice. Telling someone how they voted or not was wrong (from any angle) is complete F*ucking Horseshit.

I will vote for the people I think will best provide for the general welfare.

Anyone who cant see what’s at stake in this election by now is probably not going to suddenly have their minds changed because of a Trump campaign ad. Trump talks about his record every chance he gets.

If Trump loses he will lose because most voting Americans want what the left is selling - in summary, the security the statists are selling, more government control over their lives. Not because they were fooled by the rat media or any other reason.
