Trump’s powerful Mount Rushmore speech vows to end ‘new far-left fascism’: ‘Not going to happen to us!’

July 4, 2020 | Vivek Saxena

President Donald Trump delivered a fiery July 4th address from Mt. Rushmore that — though it garnered accusations from the left-wing press of being “dark” and “divisive” — earned him nothing but praise from die-hard patriots, and for good reason.

The president spent the majority of the roughly 45-minute long speech Friday night highlighting America’s core history and values and making it clear they, including Mt. Rushmore itself, will NOT be excised from history so long as he remains in office.

“Today we pay tribute to the exceptional lives and extraordinary legacies of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt,” he said.

“I am here as your president to proclaim before the country and before the world, this monument will never be desecrated, these heroes will never be defamed, their legacy will never ever be destroyed, their achievements will never be forgotten, and Mount Rushmore will stand forever as an eternal tribute to our forefathers and to our freedom.”

I saw that.   Didn't listen but read about what he had said.  That would be great if he was actually able to stop the desecration.  Stop even his own appointee's from embracing BLM pandering.  Like Marc Esper.  Or any of the Republicans buying into the garbage.  Because a Commander in Chief isn't really a Commander unless he can rally his team (Republican party) in an American game plan.  Not a pandering one.

Its much easier for people to just say the President can't do it by himself.  Making excuses. But if the Republican party is united under Trump that isn't an excuse.  Its a weak leader that doesn't expect his team to follow.

Words are just words unless you can stop this crap that's all they are.

This country has been burning, and seeing people murdered.  People's businesses destroyed.  Our heritage desecrated and autonomous zones.  Trump can't even bring himself to action.  All he does is tweet about liberal government.  He has the Insurrection Act, but wouldn't use it.  I saw his new press secretary take credit for stopping Chop.  He didn't do a thing.

AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

Based on CNN's early judgement of the speech, do you think they were given copies of the speech?  Trying to make sense of their Rushmore portrayal....

Meet the new far-left fascism.  Same as the old far-left fascism.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

-Ayn Rand-
