Whenever the news cycle runs a bit slow, pundits from left and right become atwitter over the possibilities for Joe Biden's female and preferably minority running mate.  We have seen the analyses ad nauseam: too-old-too-white Elizabeth Warren, inexperienced Stacey Abrams, unpopular Gretchen Whitmer, too-tough ex-prosecutors Amy Klobuchar and Kamala Harris, and on and on.  All the possible choices have significant issues.  The one minority female left is Michelle Obama.

Michelle is revered by both the moderate and socialist wings of the Democrat Party.  Together with husband Barack, she brings White House experience to the V.P. job, and she reportedly gets along well with both of the Bidens.  More importantly, she has no strong negatives like the other candidates.  Her harping on America's structural racism, which caused her to disappear from the speaking circuit for a while when Barack was president, rings more true today to many woke Americans. 

My guess is that Old Joe is going through the motions of vetting his V.P. candidates while waiting for Michelle to make up her mind to join his campaign.  As usual, Michelle is waiting for Valerie Jarrett to make the real decision and for her husband to make up his mind ahead of her.  Barack is a notorious procrastinator on key decisions (see OBL), so we should not expect a decision any time soon.

But it will happen.

....Well ... I've predicted Michelle for quite awhile ....I think she is going to be the one. She's the ticket to the DEM winning. Biden will announce her at the convention and then soon step down and she will become the DEM nominee. Can you imagine the State of the Union if she loses?? That is absolutely why Banmy and his silent army along with Soros saw the golden opportunity to try to create a race war over Floyd.

They had to introduce COVID to greatly diminish the numbers at Trump's rallies and to destroy his economy (though it's made somewhat of a comeback).

Public opinion polls appear to portend a Biden victory in November, but the former Vice President will almost certainly succumb to the same affliction that brought about Hillary Clinton’s electoral demise — anemic enthusiasm among minorities. No Democrat can win without the robust backing of this bloc of voters, and Biden’s dubious record on racially sensitive issues combined with more recent blunders, has rendered this support noticeably tepid. He also lacks the support of influential black leaders like civil rights lawyer Leo Terrell, who took to Twitter on Tuesday to write: “If the presidential election was held today, I would vote for #DonaldTrump.”

Moreover, the polls consistently show Biden’s support among black voters hovering well below Hillary Clinton’s anemic 2016 figures. The latest Quinnipiac poll, for example, indicates that only 82 percent of African-Americans support Biden — 6 points below the 88 percent Clinton garnered during her failed campaign. Nor has Biden’s clumsy pandering moved the needle among these voters. In addition to his prior pledge to consider women of color in his search for a running mate, he has now promised to release a list of black women from which he will choose Supreme Court nominees.  The target demographic is underwhelmed by these gestures, as the Washington Examiner recently reported ...

Terrell is quoted saying this 5 days ago. Well I heard him up the ante just a few days ago by saying he will vote for Trump, as the democrats have lost him through their tacit support of the rioters and their ludicrous claims of systemic racism in democrat run cities and states.
