Why Keeping American Soldiers in Germany Is the Right Decision

Leaving would be a mistake.

President Donald Trump announced this week that he plans to reduce the number of U.S. soldiers in Germany by 9,500—roughly 28% of the force currently stationed in the country.
 

Trump has long and rightfully complained about Germany’s lack of defense spending and cited this as a major reason behind his decision.

Even with Germany’s pathetic levels of defense investment, removing these troops now would denigrate the significant efforts the Trump administration has made in bolstering collective defense in Europe, while ultimately undercutting transatlantic security moving forward.

Poland isn't that far away and they are open to the US military.  Angela wants America in Germany to act as a check against the Muslim invasion and take over of much Germany.  She has to know the country is in deep doodoo because of "diversity" and needs something to keep the country from being overtaken by Mohammedans.

Poland has shown over and over that they are our friend.  Would love to help their economies instead.

OTOH, Putin would have a coronary, knowing US military presence was a few hundred miles closer to Russia.

We should move ALL out troops to both Poland and Hungary.

Those two nations seem to be interested in a future that is Western/Christian.

Germany, on the other hand, is not.

As one who cares a lot about Poland, I question if it's a good idea.  Poland has been one of the strong countries defending Western Values.  A future Democratic administration, or even this one, may attach certain strings to having our troops there,   having Poland give up their stance against LGBT and allowing in more Muslim refugees.  The US today doesn't stand for the things they used to.

At this point I'm afraid more official interaction with the US means a higher likelihood of US arm twisting to get 'woke'.

Our presence in Germany, among several nations, is the result of
Wilson's internationalization of our non-domestic affairs.
We are emphatically worse off for that brainless change of focus!!!
