Actually, the real insult to our service members is the denial of equal justice under the law represented by extrajudicial killings by police. And that insult to their service on behalf of our nation and the ideals of our Constitution stands whether the person killed is black, as with George Floyd, or white, as with Tony Timpa, suffocated with a cop on his back in 2016 in Dallas with no underlying crime for the encounter -- Timpa, who had mental health issues, called the cops himself because he thought he was a danger to himself or others while intoxicated.
