CNN Misleadingly Suggests Most Killed by Police Are Black

On Tuesday's New Day on CNN, the liberal news network's flagship morning show served as a microcosm of one of the big problems with how the media covers police-involved violence, exaggerating it into more of a racial issue than it actually is.

The three-hour show highlighted three cases in which suspects died during arrests under circumstances similar to George Floyd's death.

As two of the cases involved black suspects while another was Hispanic, the show spent overwhelmingly more time on the black victims while the one Hispanic victim was forgotten about after receiving a brief early on. No mention was made that whites killed by police outnumber blacks by a 2-1 margin and make up about half of fatal police shooting victims.

IIRC:

* ~25% of people killed by police are black (there more to the proportions of that stat, but CNN is lying);

* People killed by police are a small or tiny percentage of non-suicide gun deaths;

* >90% of blacks murdered are murdered by blacks.

That CNN can be so ignorant as not to know all this, I cannot believe. CNN knowingly lied, IMO.

CNN, and the rest of the MSM, crossed the line from slanting news to agitating for the left a long time ago. Lying comes second nature to them now.

There are a lot of black cops,and it wouldn't surprise me at all if a higher percentage of them were murdered on the job than white cops.

What can I add that already hasn’t been said about CNN? How about this, they disgrace true principled journalism (the kind I remember being taught in J school—our textbook was written in 1939) with every update and every so called news show. Good, yeah?

Yes they did it on purpose trying their best to ignite civil war.  We truly are in a war.  There is no low they won't stoop to.
